Seasonal Missions with the National Wild Turkey Federation and the USDA Forest Service
To make it easier for you to celebrate this holiday season, we have partnered with the National Wild Turkey Federation, Mission Conservation, and the USDA Forest Service. Our goal is to continue to build Missions that help you easily celebrate important seasonal and environmental dates at your site in an innovative and fun way.
Gobbling for the Holidays Mission
The National Wild Turkey Federation created a Thanksgiving Mission called “Gobbling for the Holidays”. This festive Mission teaches players about wild turkeys, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and Thanksgiving traditions.
Gobbling for the Holidays features a fun welcome audio message. Make sure you turn on your volume to hear it!

The Mission was promoted across social media platforms by the National Wild Turkey Federation, Mission Conservation, and Agents of Discovery. This entertaining video post received lots of engagement, and was picked up by many partners across the country.
Capitol Christmas Tree Mission
The USDA Forest Service has created a Capitol Christmas Tree Mission for the holiday season.
Every year, a Christmas tree is placed on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol building and decorated with lots of lights and ornaments. These giant trees, which come from our national forests, have become an important annual tradition.
This seasonal Mission launched on December 1st, and is being promoted by partners across the country. Feel free to repost this fun video from the Agents of Discovery social media account!
Both Missions are available in the library, so you can incorporate the holiday spirit at your site. You can find them in the Commons library nested under the Seasonal > (11/12) November – December tag group. Check out the screenshot below.
