Reveal Radius

The last few weeks of the summer are here, and it’s prime time for families to get outdoors! That means it’s also prime time for tips about easier Mission-making. Now that the new Mission Maker has launched, we will dive into a very exciting feature…

In the new Mission Maker, you can customize the reveal radius for each Challenge! Check out the video to see how PAM adjusts the reveal radius of a Mission!

You can now make your reveal radius small if you have a challenge that is location-specific, which means your players have to be very close to your challenge to unlock it. These are perfect when you want players to notice a sign, a piece of art, or something specific. Smaller reveal radii are harder to find and can make players feel like detectives searching for clues.

Being able to customize the reveal radius for each challenge will enable you to adapt the learning to the specifics of your site and help ensure that your players have a safe, place-based, and fun experience.
