2024 Research

Help Us Help You! 🙌

With spring approaching and the weather getting warmer outside, it’s a great time to start thinking about re-launching your outdoor Missions and reviewing your collection! If you’re a new partner putting together your first Mission, or a seasoned partner looking to add more amazing activities to your collection, keep reading for some great pointers you can follow…

…When You’re Pressed For Time

Something that affects all partners to different degrees is the balance of your Missions with the rest of your workflow, especially as things continue to change including your life circumstances, the members that make up your team, and other aspects of your organization. Look at the factors below and think about which ones have affected you or your teammates over the course of your current job:

  • Too many other tasks or duties taking priority
  • Obstacles getting approval from leadership
  • Taking on different roles to account for changes in the team
  • Receiving a promotion or moving to a different job
  • Closing your public space during the pandemic
  • Being laid off or put on leave due to staffing concerns
  • Closing your outdoor spaces in winter

If you didn’t check at least one of those options, that’s incredible! But we’re betting you had to deal with at least two or three. This is where your friends here at Agents of Discovery come in: we can help offer to create some of the content for you.

Allow me to (partially) introduce you to our content curators: these are members on our team that stay on the lookout for any new Missions you’ve published so that they can review your Challenges and copy them into our Commons library with the right tags to search them by.

Our curators are also responsible for the overwhelming majority of educational content you see in our Commons collection! Many of these Challenges are created directly by members of our team specifically for the purpose of being utilized by you and your team to make Missions at the drop of a hat.

If you have a good sense of what you want your Mission to include but don’t have time to put it together, you can reach out to our Customer Success team with a rough plan of your desired outline. Take a look at the two Mission outlines below; each focuses its Challenges around general topics and includes more specific details to include in the Challenge’s Pre- and Post-sections.

Other things you can provide to help our team create a Mission for you include details of your website and social media pages! You would be surprised how much it can help us to see what sorts of things your team thinks are worthy of an online post – it usually translates to great Mission content!

Once you have everything together, reach out to our CS team; we’ll work together with our education specialists and content curators to set some Challenges up on your dashboard and get your Mission underway. You are also more than welcome to request a meeting with CS to speak directly with our team and get exactly what you’re looking for.
