Mission of the Month: City of Gold Coast

The City of Gold Coast has two awesome missions located at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens – “Bees, butterflies and birds” and “Nature’s playground.” The “Bees, butterflies and birds” Mission discusses pollination and the life cycles of pollinators that thrive in the Botanic Gardens. The “Nature’s playground” Mission teaches fun facts about animals that agents can find around the Gold Coast.

There is fun for the whole family at the gardens, where Agents can also explore the Sensory Garden, take a “mangroves to mountains” walk, visit the native butterfly garden, stroll on the boardwalks around the lake, enjoy the playground, have a picnic or take a furry friend to the signed off-leash area. The gardens are open all year round from 5am to 7pm. There is visitor parking on site and entry is free. Young Agents should be accompanied by an adult and bring a hat, sunscreen, enclosed shoes and water bottle.
