Mission of the Month: Santa Clara County
The Agents of Discovery app allows park visitors to explore four Santa Clara County Parks through Missions that provide opportunities to connect to nature and local history through a fun bilingual experience right from their own mobile device. It uses accessible relevant technology to embrace nature!
Explore four different parks to learn about local history and different habitats in Santa Clara! Our Missions in Hellyer County Park, Martial Cottle Park, Mount Madonna County Park, and Vasona Lake Park are a great way to get outside to learn about local habitats.
When you visit our parks, you can participate in Challenges centered around habitat conservation, biodiversity, local birds and bugs, freshwater ecosystems, predators and prey, agricultural history, local plant identification, and park safety.
Another great part about our Missions is that you can play them in English or Spanish. Make sure you stay on the trails, bring sunscreen and water, and keep our parks clean. Happy exploring!
